About

Welcome to the official website of the Clemson University, Multicultural Greek Council (MGC)! MGC is an umbrella council for four multicultural Greek-letter organizations. We aim to foster a unified multicultural community to promote scholarship, service, respect, unity, and cultural awareness. Our students seek to engage the Clemson community and educate them about the cultural diversity they bring. The MGC continues to promote unity through diversity by accepting differences and connecting common goals from each organization through brotherhood/sisterhood. MGC serves as a liaison to both the larger Greek community and Clemson University as a whole. Please feel free to navigate our website and find us on social networks for more information regarding our organization.

MGC was founded in November 2015 by two distinct Latin-based organizations: Hermandad de Sigma Iota Alpha, Inc. and Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity Inc. Since then, Delta Phi Lambda Sorority Inc., and Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority, Inc. have been chartered on campus. These students seek to engage the Clemson community and educate them about the cultural diversity they bring. Clemson's MGC promotes unity through diversity by accepting differences and connecting common goals from each organization through brotherhood/sisterhood.
